Great News for By Pass Surgery Patients

Dear All,

This is a new theory which has come to my knowledge very recently from one of my friends and I thought that I should also share with you all.

A few days back my Friends Father in law was admitted in a nursing home due to severe chest pain.

He had an attack in 1997 and was undergoing normal treatment.

Due to the sudden pain just 15 days back we once again got him admitted in a private nursing home at Kandiwali, Mumbai.

The doctors later suggested for Angiography.

We conducted the Angiography at Hinduja Hospital and knew from the reports that he has multiple blockages.

The doctor told that he cannot undergo Angioplasty due to several blockages but suggested 'By Pass Surgery'.

The same day evening we brought him home since the doctor suggested that his heart is very weak and we can perform the by-pass only after 15 - 20 days.

In the mean time we were discussing this issue with our relatives and friends, we got this new information from one of our family friends.

There is a new therapy in the market which is known as - Chelation Therapy. Or Calation Therapy.

According to this therapy any patient who has to undergo by-pass need not undergo the same.

The patient is given appx. 18 bottles of blood where in some medicines are injected along with it.

The blood cleans the system and removes all the blockages from the heart.

The no. of bottles may increase depending upon the age factor and health of the patient.

The cost of the blood per bottle would be appx. Rs.2,500/- The treatment takes of appx. 1 month.

There are only 4 doctors in India and one of them is Dr.Dhananjay Shah at Malad (Mumbai) another at Karnataka.

He has a list of patients who had to undergo by-pass from Lilavati, Hinduja and other major hospitals but after undergoing the above treatment they are absolutely fine and leading a normal life.

Nasscom Animation and Gaming India - 2008 had a Super Pitch Competition held on 7th Nov. 2008 @ Hyderabad. There were around 32 entries out of that, they selected 5 entries. Out of five, The Little Kiddy Tales [LKT] was one of the selected content. I had to present LKT in front of around 200 people. Well this was the 1st time, i gave a presentation that also in front of 200 people. Well it was scary, but i managed to do so.

No AD2P on the Bluetooth
Can't share ANY [mp3, images,videos] files via bluetooth
Can't use as a wireless modem [you pay ridiculous data charges to activate internet on your phone, but cannot connect it to your PC and browse when you are at home]
No copy and paste [cannot copy a part of a.... say.... email & send it....have to type it out yourself]
No 3.2 or 5 megapixel camera [(the 2MP camera it carries is worst camera i've ever seen..... photos look like they have come out of a VGA camera]
No video recording with camera
No front camera
No flash.
No JAVA support
No physical keyboard [BELIEVE me! this alone is a dealbreaker...touch keyboard as good as it looks...once you use it then only you come to know about the importance of having a hard keypad]

We Indians are used to these features. Most of our phones already have these features. & we cannot do with out them.... i mean can you imagine paying so much for a phone with which you cannot transfer files via bluetooth. what age is this ...STONE AGE???
Some features may be activated by jailbreak.. But why the hell should you risk losing your warranty after paying so much. And want to add third party softwares??.. YOU HAVE TO BUY THEM FROM iTUNES STORE ONLY!!! . (Shell out more money). Apple is a bloody control freak. Dont surrender your freedom to it.
Its good for american market (who have no idea what mobile freedom/choice is) which is in stone age compared to asian/european markets. When they want to buy a phone, they have to go to network operators and buy only those phones that are available on that network. & stick to that company till their contract expires. You want to change carriers? Not before paying damages, & buying another phone on the other network again.
On the contrary, we in India have so much freedom. We go to handset shops & buy which ever phone we like. Then go to carriers.. checkout the plans & buy SIM.. Dont like the plan or rival carrier came up with a better plan???? EASY .. just remove & replace the SIM.
Apple are trying to IMPOSE THEIR MODEL ON US riding on the hype iPhone has created in the US (yes it was a flop in Europe ..thats why Apple never talks about its sales in Europe).
Dont fall for the subsidized price of iPhone... CHECKOUT THE DATA PLAN ATTACHED TO ITS SIM ..they will recover the cost through ridiculous data plans. Bill might come to around Rs 2500/month.(ATLEAST AMERICANS PAY THAT MUCH)
Let me clear one thing though.. iphone is the best looking phone (its touch interface is nothing like you have ever seen ), & best browsing experience out there no doubt .... (& others are fast catching up..check out the android demo at Google IO 2008).... BUT AFTER A FEW DAYS IT ALL COMES DOWN TO FUNCTIONALITY...
Those of who buy it... You will be most happy for atmost a week... & then, MARK MY WORDS...YOU WILL START REGRETTING IT!!!

My advice...WAIT FOR HTC DREAM!! (powered by android). Still not convinced by then...by all means go for iPhone...

LOS ANGELES - Is the white stuff in the Martian soil ice or salt? That's the question bedeviling scientists in the three weeks since the Phoenix lander began digging into Mars' north pole region to study whether the arctic could be habitable.

Shallow trenches excavated by the lander's backhoe-like robotic arm have turned up specks and at times even stripes of mysterious white material mixed in with the clumpy, reddish dirt.
Phoenix merged two previously dug trenches over the weekend into a single pit measuring a little over a foot long and 3 inches deep. The new trench was excavated at the edge of a polygon-shaped pattern in the ground that may have been formed by the seasonal melting of underground ice.
New photos showed the exposed bright substance present only in the top part of the trench, suggesting it's not uniform throughout the excavation site. Phoenix will take images of the trench dubbed "Dodo-Goldilocks" over the next few days to record any changes. If it's ice, scientists expect it to sublimate — or go from solid to gas, bypassing the liquid stage — when exposed to the sun because of the planet's frigid temperatures and low atmospheric pressure.

"We think it's ice. But again, until we can see it disappear ... we're not guaranteed yet," mission scientist Ray Arvidson of Washington University in St. Louis said Monday.
Even if it's not ice, the discovery of salt would also be significant because it's normally formed when water evaporates in the soil.

Preliminary results from a bake-and-sniff experiment at low temperatures failed to turn up any trace of water or ice in the scoopful of soil that was delivered to the lander's test oven last week. Scientists planned to heat the soil again this week to up to 1,800 degrees, said William Boynton of the University of Arizona in Tucson.

Phoenix landed in the Martian arctic plains on May 25 on a three-month, $420 million mission to study whether the polar environment could be favorable for primitive life to emerge. The lander's main job is to dig into an ice layer believed to exist a few inches from the surface.
The project is led by the University of Arizona and managed by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The lander was built by Lockheed Martin Corp.

X-mini Speaker ~ A trendy look.

Here comes a pocket-sized savior for laptop owners who have so far been used to the tinny sound their small speakers put out. The X-mini runs the danger of being overlooked, for it is tiny. I'm normally critical of anything that looks suspiciously small (and therefore presumably incapable of driving sound), but in this case I was happily proved wrong. Indeed, I was pleasantly surprised by its performance.

The speakers are a one-stop solution for all those travelers who are looking to carry something less weighty. I was impressed by the words "Hearing is believing" written on the cover.

The player can easily fit anywhere in your laptop bag, and if it’s your office desktop that you are buying the speaker for, you need worry only about locating it amidst all the clutter. The mid section can be unscrewed to reveal a jack in the box, quite literally, for the speaker extends a bit vertically. In performance, this trick only guarantees a slightly improved bass response.
The X-mini uses a standard mini-USB interface to charge, while you can use the 3.5mm pin to plug into your laptop, music player, phone... basically anything that has a 3.5mm jack. For such a small size, this speaker can deliver more than five hours of playback. This is great.

As far as performance goes, I assure you all this harping was not for nothing. The speaker, although being monaural (which means it cannot drive stereo sound), does in fact pack a decent punch. The volume starts jarring when cranked up really high, but it makes it as far loud (in some cases louder, depending on whether you listen out of your laptop, desktop, PSP, or DAP) as your office will allow.
The frequencies are good, so much so that you will enjoy the speakers. I took them out of town, and in the quiet of the night, I had a decent run of music. They cost Rs 1250, which is a brilliant deal. The X-mini delivers good dynamic sound, which is exactly what you pay for.

Design and FeaturesBlaupunkt is a medium-sized for a powered sub, and is lighter than regular subs. The exterior is aluminum, with a very smooth shape consisting of semicircular sides and flat parallel top and bottom faces. These faces are broad, so they give the piece considerable depth. I still feel this unit is very nice and compact for a car boot. The multiway car cable is provided, along with an AC adapter and a 3.5 mm jack both-ways cable.
The front is a glossy black hard plastic surface with the Velocity 2Go label etched on it, and a blue backlight illuminates it nicely when the unit is turned on. There is one input called MP3, and there is a pair of RCA at the back. The switches are in the form of cool three-way sliders on the top panel, with an auto mode. This mode turns the unit on when it detects a signal – typical car audio stuff.
The rear panel has flush-mounted dials for volume and subwoofer controls, something that irritates me, as we have to use our fingertips and move it awkwardly. Regardless that this is meant to be used in a car boot, the fact that it also serves as a boombox should have persuaded the designers to make a better volume knob.
There are 2x130 mm polypropylene cone woofers, with 2x19 mm silk membrane tweeters, attached on braces that extend out of the rim of the body into the front panel frame, thus covering the woofers slightly. The woofers are exposed (not good) while the tweeters are nicely housed within a grille (good).
The unit works on batteries for portable operation; and you'll need eight AA batteries. Special rechargeable batteries can be used too, which get charged when AC power is connected, or the car engine is on. The power output is 80 watts RMS.

Performance
First off we tried out the unit as a full range stereo system, then connected a couple of MP3 players consecutively, and also ran it purely on batteries. The first thing we noticed was that this unit is effin' loud. But not necessarily refined and good loud, the sound distorted audibly at high levels. In both inputs the problem persisted; distortions were there at loud levels. But after lowering the volume at source level and adjusting the optimal volume level on the unit, it was pretty powerful.
The sound was obviously bass-heavy, and the lows most impressive, even if at times they eat up the highs and mids. In subwoofer mode the player is way better; in fact it makes more sense to use this as a sub, even for the home. The sound does spread out and the LF extension is impressive, though it doesn’t reach the lowest frequencies in the book. It works best for modern electronic or rock music: stuff with pounding bass and big sounding drums.

Conclusion
This unit works well as a subwoofer, and adds a nice low-end nudge. As a boombox it’s a little heavy going, though young bassheads will like it. It’s physically heavy too, so carrying it around will require some effort. It’s not cheap either, at Rs 24,500, so only those with deep pockets as well as bulging biceps would want to try it out for their car.

By popular demand and of course as an obvious contender for this list is HTC's latest offering in the Windows Mobile segment: the Touch Diamond. Like the previous Touch model, the Diamond also uses HTC's TouchFLO technology, only this one has a bit of an upgrade – it's 3D. The HTC Touch Diamond has plenty to offer all kinds of users, from a 3 megapixel auto-focus camera to a media player and an FM radio. Other features include GPS with A-GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP, and 3G with HSDPA. The Diamond comes with 4GB of internal space. The best part is it's just been launched here in India.
BlackBerry Thunder

Enterprise mobile developer BlackBerry certainly didn't want to be left out of the race. Their offering to the list of i-Killers is the sleek BlackBerry 9500 Thunder. Though it may seem a bit more official now than it did about a week ago, the design may not be off the drawing board yet. There aren't too many specs revealed either. According to the pictures making the rounds, this handset looks promising. It has a full touch screen interface for what looks to easily be a 3.inch TFT display. A touchscreen BlackBerry does have potential, so we'll have to just wait and see what this baby's all about.

Can you imagine, Flash on your mobile. I have been using Nokia 6600, I was looking for a flash player on my mobile and got something... I downloaded the software and it asked me to install some new software or plugin u can say... Which was 66.2 MB. I tried downloading it, but after downloading 40.5 MB, it got disconnected. Well i didnt give up... I again kept the file for downloading, and at present it is getting downloaded, till now apporx. 20 MB has been downloaded....

The first file which i downloaded was a ZIP file, I unzipped it and started reading the READ ME file. It said me all about what folders which were in the Zip file. I kept reading... After that, there was a PDF file, which opened, had 86 pages... I started reading... and as i was going thru, i was getting shocked as it was telling me about you can do programming... I was shocked... As the programming part came... My head started paining and i closed the file... but i definately will read the book and atleast get the knowledge what exactly "Flash Lite" is all about...

Here comes the name Flash Lite 1.1. You need to go to http://www.macromedia.com/ There you have to search for some thing like... Flash for Mobile Device... Click on it... ::: ILLUSION INTERACTIVE :::

A new Animation Firm, who basically does Original Animated Contents. We have our own concepts; We develop them, We write the scripts, We create the characters and all other stuff, which is required while doing Animation. We follow our own process for Animation. The process we follow is something like:

First we see what kind of script & concept we have.
Then we see cartoon films and decide what kind of animation we are looking for.
Sometimes it happens that we make our own animation look.
As per the script, the characters are sketched.
The look and all is decided, the profile is made, 3/4 is made, front,back and all are made simultaneously.
Then we decide the kind of animation i.e. jerky, smooth, 2D animation etc.
As we decide motion, the Animation is started.
The animation window size is 720 X 576 (A video resolution) @ 25 fps.
We use Macromedia Flash MX as our major source for animation.
We sketch the characters and then we trace them out in flash.
Then IB artist (In Betweener) do the IB where necessary.
At the same time, Background artist do the BG as needed; while doing animation.
The post production done by us, but without special effect.
The process goes, and ultimately the final animation is in our hand.

Till now we have done around 5 mins of animation in 25 days Team of 2. . Sound recording is been getting ready at the same time.

On 22nd Dec. 2004,

On 22nd night, at 9:30 left from home, towards Dadar Station, had plan to board Gujarat Mail, Coach no. AS4, Seat no. 58, a middle berth. Had planned to for Darshan and all.

On 27th Dec. 2004

I just landed to mumbai from Amdh.

31st Evening, didnt expect will be such a great fun and interesting. Since past few week, was busy with work and had gone out of town. We had already planned, where is our 31st dec. eve. I was not much excited about it. But had planned and decided, so had to go.
